Nine people died after a Bahamas-bound Learjet crashed and then erupted in a fireball in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Sunday. The flight, which departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, was headed for North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.<\/p>\n

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said all nine people on the flight died. He called the crash a \u201chorrific tragedy\u201d on social media, adding, \u201cPlease join me in praying for the families and loved ones of those we lost.\u201d<\/p>\n
The identities of the people on board have not been released. You can only suspect their families are still in disbelief. What makes matters worse is that the death of their family members is being replayed over and over again on social media.<\/p>\n

Former Navy fighter pilot and TOPGUN instructor Matthew \u201cWhiz\u201d Buckley is speaking on the private jet wreck on Sunday. Moreover, he dismissed conspiracy theories circulating on social media, calling those people \u201cSmooth-brained.\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Buckley shut down rumors of foul play, stating, \u201cEnough with the conspiracy theories. It wasn\u2019t shot down. It wasn\u2019t a drone.\u201d<\/p>\n
Instead, he stated that the jet likely iced up, causing the pilots to lose complete control of the aircraft. He also added that the jet was missing its tail and there was nothing they could do at that point. Buckley also noted that following a dive of that extreme velocity, \u201cthere ain\u2019t going to be nothing left.\u201d<\/p>\n
